One address — cloud or on-prem
You do not open a second website for on-prem. After you sign in at your Scenaven URL, the same page hosts the 3D viewer. Infrastructure (top right) switches where the server runs: hosted cloud or Docker on your machine.

How it fits together
| Piece | What it is | Separate URL? |
|---|---|---|
| Auth shell | Home / session page — AntiNode sign-in, then the viewer loads | No — this is your Scenaven address |
| Viewer | Full-screen 3D view, panels, amAIra, Python | No — embedded in the shell (same tab) |
| Cloud backend | Hosted mesh-api and viewer-ui on Google Cloud | Selected in Choose infra → Cloud |
| On-prem backend | mesh-api + viewer-ui in Docker on your PC or server | Selected in Choose infra → On-prem (browser still on the same Scenaven page) |
The viewer talks to whichever backend Infrastructure points at. Your files and compute follow that choice — cloud preview storage vs disk on the Docker host.
What to do in practice
- Open your Scenaven site and sign in (auth shell).
- Use the viewer as usual — Examples, camera, amAIra, and so on.
- When you need the full tool set on your own hardware, open Infrastructure → Self-hosted setup, install Docker, then select On-prem in Choose infra.
- To return to the hosted preview, select Cloud in the same panel.
